Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of Fluff Filter
Clean the fluff filter after every drying program to ensure efficient operation and to prevent damage to the dryer. When the FILTER display lights up, cleaning is essential to avoid potential damage.
Empty Water Reservoir
Empty the water reservoir after every drying program. The condensed water is not suitable for drinking or food-related uses, but can be used as distilled water after filtering.
Cleaning the Condenser Unit
Clean the condenser unit after approximately every thirty drying programs. A covered condenser unit increases energy consumption and may affect the dryer's performance.
Drum and Sensor Cleaning
Wipe the inside of the drum and drum fins with white vinegar to remove residues, particularly if fabric conditioning sheets or starched items are frequently used.
Avoiding Overloading
Do not overload the appliance. Follow the maximum load limits specified for each program to prevent inadequate drying and potential damage.
